Phobos is a family of new generation digital recorders from Voice Recorders Ltd.

PHOBOS Secure X4 is a PC based modular digital voice recorder for recording from analogue or digital telephones, trunk lines and microphones.  Based upon standard commercial PC hardware with feature rich software taking advantage of rapid technology and advances in audio processing and  storage  technology.

With Phobos its easy to search and find recordings, they are listed by time, date, telephone numbers, duration and you can add text comments to a recording and e mail copies to others as standard WAV files. (Original recordings are stored in proprietary encrypted  for legally admissible purposes.)   There is also a typist footswitch option for recorder control for transcription / dictation.

PHOBOS Secure X4 is supplied as a complete standalone system that can also be connected to the network for remote access by other PC workstations or over the Internet. Conveniently housed in a small form factor chassis complete with  multimedia colour display, keyboard and mouse with necessary hardware and software installed.

PHOBOS Secure X4 modular configuration offers the ability to mix and match recording cards for analogue, digital, VoIP. CCTV Phobos utilises industry standard upgradeable “COTS” PC components to ensure that customer investment is protected as PC and information technology improves.

PHOBOS Secure X4can use your corporate LAN, client/server structure to its full extent, or it does the job as a stand-alone system in a very efficient manner.

PHOBOS Secure X4 automatically records all  incoming and outgoing calls with telephone number tagging. Also records from microphones, radios, and faxes CCTV with audio & Video streaming onto any media.
